High School Diploma Requirements

You must be over the age of 18. There are two ways to qualify for a Breeze High School diploma.                                        

1. Fill in the Life/Work Experience Application to acquire a minimum of 21 credits.

We allocate 5 credits for each year you have previously attended high school classroom instruction (maximum 3 years or 15 credits.)

We allocate up to 5.5 credits for each year of life/work experience you have (maximum 4 years or 22 credits).

We allocate up to 5.5 credits for each year of military service you have completed (maximum 4 years or 22 credits.)

        Answer some questions about your experiences, the number of years of high school education you have completed, any life or work experience you have had, hobbies, sports, other things you have done, etc. Our credentials board can take each experience -work, life, hobby etc. and apply it to one or more of the five areas below. Usually there will be enough credits based on this information to qualify you for our high school diploma so there will be no need to take the test.

Guarantee. All testing and evaluation is free. You have nothing to lose. When our Credentials Board determines you are qualified for the high school diploma you will be notified by email. Then to receive your diploma/graduation packs just pay the $219.00 tuition to complete your enrollment.

2. If the life experience application does not provide enough credits needed for a high school diploma then you can still take our free high school equivalency test for additional credits.  The test is 32 questions including questions in some areas of knowledge listed below. This test is free and you may take it three times.

Five areas of knowledge for a High School Diploma are:

LANGUAGE ARTS (Reading & Writing)
Creative Writing; English; Grammar and Composition; Poetry; Literature; Spelling; Reading Comprehension; Foreign Language such as Spanish or French; Fiction Writing; Nonfiction Writing; Speech; Communications; Media Studies such as Movies and Television. Do you read newspapers, magazines, books?

MATHEMATICS
Algebra; Business Math; Geometry; Calculus; Trigonometry; Refresher Math (equivalent to 8th grade knowledge.) Do you balance your checkbook?

SCIENCE
Astronomy; Biology; Chemistry; Earth Science; Environmental Science; Life Science; Physical Science; Physics; Oceanography; Geology; Anthropology; Meteorology. Do you watch the moon and stars?

SOCIAL SCIENCES
American Government; American Politics; Citizenship; American History; World History; Economics; Psychology; Sociology; Geography; Social Work; Political Science; Current Affairs. Do you keep up with local and national news in the newspaper or on television?

ELECTIVES
Art; Music; General Business; Business Law; Business Management; Accounting; Bookkeeping; Typing; Data Entry; Computer; MS Word; Windows 95/98/2000/ME/VISTA; Health; Driver Education; Animal Care; Dentistry; Car Repair; Woodworking; Drawing; Singing; Musical Instrumentation; Computer Technology; Computer Science; Fitness; Marketing; Office Skills; any type of sport or physical activity such as Bodybuilding, Swimming, Aerobics, Football, Soccer, Chess, Tennis, Bowling etc. Do you have any other hobbies or interests?
