Q. What classes are required for graduation?

A. No classes are required. This is an online distance learning accelerated education program. As such we depend totally upon your life/work experience and/or test results.

Q. What is a diploma based on Life Experience?

A. The concept of high school diplomas based on life experience originated over twenty years ago, so students could get credit for test and life/work experience. It is a system that provides education documentation for people who do not have educational documents, but have acquired the knowledge through life and or job experience. Life/work experience programs have been accepted by many educational institutions.

 Q. Is this diploma a GED?

A. AIAO programs offer a graduation sometimes referred to as a high school equivalency program including a high school diploma and ongoing verification. Many institutions would much prefer a high school diploma. There are some similarities, but our program is not a GED.

Q. What can I use my diploma/graduation package for?

A. It can be used to show proof of your accomplishments.  Many technical schools and universities accept accelerated/motivational credentials and many do not. Every institution has different requirements for credits they will accept so you should check the admission policies of the institution you will apply to before purchasing your diploma.  We usually do not recommend accelerated/motivational programs such as ours for entry into higher educational institutions. However, there are many employers that will accept credits from non-traditional accelerated/motivational programs like ours. We suggest checking potential employer’s requirements first. For military, civil service and some government jobs we suggest completion of our program plus completion of a GED. Remember, a Breeze Graduation Package can be delivered to you in as little as 5 days, but studying for and completing a GED test may take months.

Q. Will my diploma be a GED?

A. No. Breeze High School program is not a GED. However, our program does cover a curriculum similar to the GED. We offer a high school diploma program, we do not offer GED certificates. GED-General Educational Development certificates are only issued by government agencies and public institutions.

Q. Will the words "online" or "life experience" be on the diplomas and certificates?

A. No they will not, the diploma and the certificates will look just like any other traditional diploma or certificate. We will also award grade/scores for each subject on the transcripts.

Q. Do I need an education verification letter?

A. Some employers require job applicants to verify their educational documents with a letter from the high school that issued them. It usually includes information about the graduate’s program and grades. We include 4 copies of this letter in the graduation package.

Q. What if my life/work experience is not enough to qualify me for graduation?

If your life/work experience is not sufficient to graduate you can still take the Breeze Equivalency Test.

Q. What if I don’t pass the equivalency test?

The test is free and you can take the test three times. Passing the test will qualify you for graduation.

Q. Can I specify the year of graduation on my diploma?

Yes. We can issue a high school diploma in your requested year. However, if you are applying on the basis of experience we will ensure that it is consistent with the time frame of the life/work experience.
